Sixth Grade Goals
•Strive to build upon a child's strengths, and seek ways to help each grow and improve in his/her less developed areas
•Seek ways to teach to a child's different learning styles to support a more personal and individualized approach to learning
•Support the belief that it is truly okay to learn from one's mistakes...Failure is an event, not a person.
•Stress the importance of learning to work with one another and learning to respect one another
•Realize school is more than learning information and receiving grades. It is also learning about oneself and learning to feel good about who you are.
